Purikura Fun with My New Hello Kitty Plushie!

If you follow me on Facebook (please do! Click that link to go to my page), then you know that I got an adorable new Hello Kitty plushie yesterday and posted a couple pics I spruced up with an awesome new photo-editing app I got called Pixlromatic. 

This is my fave! Notice the amazing starburst light behind
and on the sides of Houdini.

Although this app is not a true purikura app (i.e. no stamps or girly borders, etc), it allows you to add some amazing filters, lighting effects, and unique borders to your pics and I love it!  Almost as much as I love my new Hello Kitty! lol

Awesome Hello Kitty Art

I found these awesome HK pics from the Hello Kitty Wallpaper iPod app from 8bit Factory!  If you have an iPhone or iPod and love HK, I highly reccommend this app. They have tons of free HK wallpapers.  I especially love the artwork of these two pics!
 If anyone knows who made them, I'd be happy to credit them.

Purikura - Japanese photo editing is fun and cute!

All over Japan, a popular thing for girls (and guys) to do while out and about is to step into a purikura booth and make cool, cute photo stickers like this.  You simply put in your money, take a few shots, then decorate them with frames, stickers, glitter, and words, then print them out. 

Since I haven't gotten to Japan yet, I can recreate these awesome little pics with the loads of great purikura apps on my iPod touch. As you can see, the results are only limited by your imagination.  You can go subtle, like the one below, or crazy out there like the ones above.

If you have an iPhone or iPod touch, simply go to the app store and search "purikura" and you're on your way!  So fun and definitely kawaii!

Here's my brother Ryan and my mom.  I love this one!  The one below is a cool pic I made of my boyfriend dressed up like Iron Man.  I added the frame and stamps to make it look like manga!
